Imprisac, a French advanced packaging company, and its user Distrupol have now collaborated on the development of five new barrier films with excellent barrier properties and good transparency and processability.
The barrier resin in the 5-layer film ultimately selected the Aquamid AQL34 from Aquafil Technology Polymers of Italy, which is a natural nylon 6 grade without reinforcing material. This 5-layer film structure is PE/nylon/PE or PP/nylon/PP. The barrier properties of this 5-layer membrane can meet the requirements of medical, chemical, nuclear and aerospace industries. Due to its good transparency, it is also widely used in fresh food packaging.
