In order to meet the market demand, a 5 × 15.5 m heat treatment furnace was successfully built and put into operation in Luoyang CITIC Heavy Machinery recently.
This furnace is the second horizontal translational heat treatment furnace in China, and is another large-scale heat treatment equipment built by Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. after the 8.5×12m large heat treatment furnace. Its put into use, not only greatly eased the heavy machinery company's hot processing equipment tense situation, but also effectively solved the heavy machine super-long tube body heat treatment problems.
The 5 × 15.5 m heat treatment furnace was expanded by the heavy machine company on the basis of the original 5 × 12 m furnace of the heat treatment plant. After the reconstruction, the thermal efficiency of the furnace has increased from 7% to more than 25% now. In addition, the temperature uniformity of the furnace is better, the structure is more reasonable, the advanced degree of the control system is higher, and the energy saving effect is remarkable.
