Application of Resin Plate in Label Printing Industry

Label printers are like printers, because each label is printed like a banknote, and they are all about the valuation of Zhang, not books and magazines. A banknote can still be passed on and it can be reused for several years. It can be seen that it is hard to imagine how many labels will be circulating in the world. When you carefully evaluate the potential of the label printing industry, you will really be surprised. The vast majority of the plates used in label printing are “resin plates”.

At present, the resin version can be divided into

1. Water; medium washable resin plate (mainly washed with pure water)

2. Potion; Medium-washable flexo (The middle wash is tetrachloroethylene plus n-butanol)

3. Water; Washable flexo (washed with pure water to add a little surfactant)

Today we only introduce the water: the resin version, this part.

The current market share of higher brand

Made in Japan:

(1) TOREALIEF (Toray Rich) produced by TORAY "TORAY"
(2) Toyobo "TOYOBO" production PRINTIGHT (Princeto)
(3) Tokyo should be "TOKYO-OHKA" production of MIRACLON

Made in Germany:

(1) NYLOPRINT produced by BASF "BASF"

Note 1: At present, due to the higher exchange rate of the Euro, BASF's product prices are much higher than those of the Japanese products, so the market share of the used manufacturers is relatively low.

Note 2: All of the above products are made of plastic sheet base and iron sheet base to suit various types of printing presses.

(3) Resin Plate Making Procedure

The vast majority of printed labels are printed on resin, and the cost of the resin version is relatively high. Therefore, at the time of plate making, every step and every step must be very careful. A seemingly simple action will result in inaccurate operation. Failure, waste of media and increased costs.

The following is a brief description of some of the problems that often occur with customers when making contact with the sales of resin plates:

1. The plate making environment should be clean and dust-free, dust in the air is easy to adhere to the film, and pinholes are easily generated during plate making. The film concentration is at least 3.0 or more. Otherwise, the plate is easy to burn.

2. The film concentration is at least 3.0 or more.

3. The contact between the film and the plate should be vacuum-tight. If there is air between the two, it can cause dot and font hypertrophy.

4, the exposure time is just right, the exposure time is too long and the anti-white part will become lighter when printed. The exposure time is too short, fine lines and fine dots will be washed out.

5. ; Chinese version of the time is about 2 to 3 minutes, not too long, the water can often be changed before it can be maintained; Chinese version of the speed.

6. When drying, the temperature is controlled at 50cC to 60cC, baking time is about 5 to 10 minutes, the drying time is too short, the resin is not completely dry, and the resin peeling phenomenon easily occurs during printing. However, it is not allowed to bake too long or the resin is likely to have brittle cracks.

7. The exposure time and the main exposure time can be the same, up to 1.5 times the main exposure time, otherwise the resin version will lose flexibility and easy to crack.

8. Keep the resin plate in a cool, dark place when it is not in use. If inked shed grease plates are used, they must be wiped clean and then stored.

Finally, I hope that through my experience in sales and plate making, I can help you avoid the same problems when making plates, reduce errors, and reduce the cost of making resin plates.
