Transportation: There are two routes into the mountain, south and westbound.

Yecheng is the actual starting point for the new Tibet Highway. There is no public transport on the Xinzang Highway. Westbound: Another westbound from Lhasa, from Lhasa to Lahu, passes through Yamdrokti. If you take the old road, you can take a bird's eye view of Yanghu Lake. Since the old road takes time, you can only live in Lashio or Shigatse. In the evening, at 15 yuan/person, the best meal before arriving in Ali is here. There are very few food and accommodation in Lashio, and it is a good place to take a photo trip to the town of Karon, which is 53 kilometers away. After that, it is 65 kilometers to reach Sang Sang, where you can also spend 10 Yuan per night, and 122 kilometers after Sang Sang. 2. South Road is nearer to North Road. It takes about 4 days. There are no trains to ride. Only chartered vehicles are available. South Road is very dangerous. If you encounter a bear, you will not be able to protect your life. Visitors are advised to bypass as much as possible.

Precautions:
1. If you go south on the Xinzang Highway, you must know that there are snow and snowfalls in the winter and spring seasons. It is best to go from May to May each year. Due to poor weather and food and accommodation along the way, bring enough cold-proof clothing and medicines.
2. Visitors from Lhasa West to Ali should note that Ali's trip to and from 4,000 kilometers, about 15 days, each car rental of 1000-17000 yuan. The last fueling point in Lhasa is in Lashio, and there are no gas stations in Lashio about 1,600 kilometers to Shiquan River!
