The research project of "Stalk Papermaking (Pulping) New Process and Equipment Development" jointly invested by Chengdu High-Tech Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Yunchuang Science and Technology Co., Ltd., has passed the Chengdu City Science and Technology Commission's results appraisal.
This straw papermaking (pulping) new process and equipment is the first in China to produce pulp without chemicals, which has double environmental benefits. First, it solved the problem of atmospheric pollution caused by straw burning; second, it solved the problem of serious pollution and high pollution control that plagued the domestic papermaking industry. It is reported that the pollution control fee per ton of water used in traditional papermaking is 2 yuan. After adopting a new process, the pollution treatment fee per ton of water is as low as 1 cent.
