Consumer electronics maker Canon introduced two new "hybrid" print copiers on Tuesday to win the market for office users who occasionally only need color printing.
The Imagerunner C6800 and Imagerunner C3100 series of copiers and printers introduced by Canon USA further expand the company's product portfolio in black and white and color network digital versatile imaging systems.
“Most of the documents on the computer screen are colored, and most users also want to add color to the printed document to enhance its appeal or to more effectively convey information,†said Amorosano, executive director of Canon USA. (Dennis Amorosano) said.
He said that the C3100 sells for about $9,000-11,000, while the higher-capacity C6800 costs about $24,000. Both machines include the ability to print, copy, and scan documents.
