The head or body must not be placed above the fire when lighting, igniting and burning, and clothing and flammable materials should be kept away from the stove.
When the stove is burning, remove the grab arm, split the stove, pump or oil bottle, and keep away from open flames or heat sources.
The fire that was just extinguished must not be rekindled because the warm parts may evaporate the liquid oil and cause dangerous "fireballs" when it is relighted.
Never shake or move a stove that is in use.
Below -24° C (-10° F), the O-ring may harden resulting in oil leaks or cracks that can cause fire.
Do not place heavy or large pots on the stove (maximum weight: 8 lbs; maximum diameter: 9â€).
Do not use more than one stove in a pot, and do not approach other stoves, heat sources, fuel, and fire sources.
DragonFly stoves and Simmer pumps can only use DragonFly components. MSR DragonFly components and Simmer pump components are not common with other MSR stoves.
Each time the oil bottle is pressurized and the furnace is used, the connection of the oil bottle to the pump must be checked.
Never let a burning or hot stove be left unattended or let children use the stove. Children need to watch carefully when they are near the stove.
Do not use stoves other than as directed in the instructions.
Do not modify the stove or use non-MSR DragonFly components. Do not disassemble the stove in accordance with instructions.
Before you take the stove on your journey, check for leaks, trials, and maintenance.
