Nilpeter drupa exhibits the latest digital inkjet printer Caslon

Nilpeter, the world-renowned manufacturer of narrow-web printing presses in Denmark, unveiled its newest printing equipment at the "Drproba German Printing Exhibition" that is being held. Ink printing machine Caslon

It is understood that Caslon is a new four-color digital inkjet printer designed for industrial web printing. Using Xaar's latest Piezo drop-on-demand inkjet nozzles, Caslon's design and development was conducted in collaboration with FFEI, a UK software development and systems integration provider. Unlike most digital printing systems, Caslon does not require a separate printing environment and production workflow while increasing the digital converter's existing printing capabilities. Currently, Caslon offers two options for maximum web width: 420mm (16.5inch) or 340mm (13,5 inch). As a standard component that can be installed on the Nilpeter FA platform, CASLON can also be adapted to the needs of users who do not require on-line printing or processing, and is set up as a separate digital press with a decoiling and rewinding device. Caslon can print near-offset print quality with a resolution of 360 x 360 dpi and eight shades of gray.
