Historically, the flat wire machines used to make plastic bags have relied on imports. Since 2006, Huahai Machinery has officially established a project to develop plastic weaving machines and set up a water jet plastic weaving machine technology research group. After nearly six months of scientific research, the first plastic weaving prototype in Huahai was officially opened in March 2007. After appraisal and testing by the relevant departments, the plastic knitting machine adopts a crank four-link opening mechanism, which is more effective in beat-up; adopts electronic length-measuring weft-inserting method to measure uniform length and is more convenient to operate; the large-volume roll-up device outside the machine is used. The roll cloth can reach a diameter of up to 1 meter, which greatly improves the textile efficiency. The use of an active let-off device has the advantages of stable let-off and even tension, and the use of a centralized grease lubrication system prolongs the service life of wearable parts.
The plastic knitting prototype can completely replace similar imported equipment such as woven bags, container bags, tarpaulins, sunscreens, tents and other fabrics, and the cost of the machine is reduced by more than 20% compared with the import.
The success of this technological transformation project has filled the domestic gap and was included in the list of the first (set) products in the key areas of accelerated development of equipment manufacturing in Zhejiang Province in 2007. At present, the plastic knitting machine developed by Huahai has been used by many manufacturers in Wenzhou and our city.
Chairman Cai Huajun told reporters that since 2000, the group has carried out six major technical reforms, and Huahai Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has to develop more than 5 new products each year. At present, there are only 8 series and 239 varieties of textile machinery.
